Prior to accepting his dream job, he held positions as an elementary music teacher, NCAA ski coach, high school band director and world history and economics teacher. Along the way, he earned a Master’s degree in exercise science from Adams State University and picked up a side gig as a World Cup cross-country ski broadcaster.
A Minnesota-native, Sederquist met his wife, Christie at Concordia College, where he ran track and cross-country and played trumpet in the band. They currently live in Leadville with their two daughters, Novi and Ella, and their 5-year-old German Shepherd-border collie mix, Ajee.
When he isn’t busy inserting Pete Maravich references into his stories, he can be found running up mountains, discussing oatmeal recipes on his podcast or reading books by Doug Wilson. Sometimes he tries to do all three at the same time.
