What goods or services do you provide? We provide compassionate, science-based intravenous ketamine therapy for those seeking relief from treatment-resistant depression, postpartum depression, anxiety, PTSD and chronic pain.
What’s new or exciting at your place? Our new clinic in Avon offers a convenient location for people in Eagle County to receive ketamine treatments without having to drive to the Front Range. Ketamine is a versatile medication originally developed as an anesthetic. It is now recognized for its potential in treating severe depression and other mental health conditions. Unlike traditional antidepressants, which can take weeks to show effects, ketamine can provide rapid relief from symptoms of depression, sometimes with the first treatment. Our treatment programs consist of an initial dose discovery phase followed by a maintenance plan to stabilize and manage remission.
What strategy do you use to differentiate your business from your competition? Safety is our first and highest priority. The administration of ketamine to our patients is provided by anesthesiologists, certified nurse anesthetists (CRNAs) or other physicians who are specifically trained in infusion therapy. We use a weight-based protocol as the baseline for dosing and frequency of treatment, adopted from evidence-based guidelines for IV treatments.
Who can receive ketamine therapy? For depression, ketamine therapy is limited to patients who have failed to respond to conventional medical treatment. Before receiving ketamine treatments, each patient is required to have a referral from a licensed mental health professional.
What can your customers expect from you? Our customers should expect a professional and compassionate medical environment where safety is our number one priority. A typical initial course of treatment is six sessions of approximately one hour duration over two to three weeks.
