The Eagle County Democratic Party elected new leaders on Feb. 11 to serve a two-year term. The newly elected executive committee includes:

• Lisa Lewis – Chair
• William Day – First Vice Chair
• Andrea Burrows – Second Vice Chair
• Katie Bristow – Third Vice Chair
• Pam Gray – Secretary
• Donna Grauer – Treasurer

Lewis replaces Jennifer Filipowski as top local party official. Karen Barch, Lesley Rameil, and Kristin Neff were elected as at-large members of the executive committee. Per state party rules, county parties must hold elections for officers, executive committee members, and bonus members between Feb. 1-15 of odd-numbered years.

“I am honored to lead the Eagle County Democratic Party at such a pivotal moment for our community and country,” Lewis said. “Strong local leadership has never been more important. I’m excited to work alongside an incredible team to protect our democracy, advocate for marginalized communities, and build a more engaged, inclusive, and fair Eagle County.”

Beyond leading voter outreach at the county level, the chair and first vice chair automatically serve on the Congressional District and State Party Central Committees. The secretary also serves as a member of the State House, State Senate, and State Judicial District Committees. Each county is allocated bonus members based on the number of votes cast for the Democratic candidate at the top of the ballot in the previous election.

On March 8, members of the Colorado Democratic Party Central Committee will meet in Denver to elect new state party officers.
